R64NE118 — a high-oleic sunflower hybrid, distinguished by its high oleic acid content due to the ExpressSun® technology. This mid-season, simple hybrid is characterized by stable yield and high tolerance to leaf and head diseases, ensuring reliable and high-quality harvests. Plants have medium height and demonstrate good drought resistance, making the hybrid adaptable to various growing conditions.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to five races of sunflower moth (A–E), as well as to new strains of false powdery mildew. Due to these characteristics, R64NE118 is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions, including areas with false powdery mildew prevalence but without significant presence of race G of the sunflower moth. The maximum single application rate of the herbicide Express® 75 is 50 grams per hectare, providing effective plant protection without harming their growth.

To achieve optimal yield, it is recommended to maintain a specific planting density: 50–55 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 45–50 thousand under insufficient moisture.
