Sunflower P64GE118

The Standard for Clearfield Farming

Pioneer s.a. has consistently defined the global sunflower market, and the P64NE118 / P64GE118 hybrid is a prime example of high-tech agricultural science. Designed for efficiency, this simple hybrid is a cornerstone for farmers utilizing the Clearfield production system, providing a robust solution for weed control and yield protection.

Key Performance Drivers

The standout feature of this hybrid is its short maturity cycle of 90–100 days. In today’s climate, characterized by irregular rainfall, this early maturity allows the crop to avoid the worst of the summer heat and drought. The hybrid offers significant advantages:

• Full compatibility with Euro-Lightning herbicides, ensuring effective suppression of weeds and parasitic plants like broomrape.
• Built-in genetic resistance to downy mildew, which minimizes the need for heavy fungicide applications.
• Proven resistance to powdery mildew, maintaining crop health through the critical maturation stages.

Originating from top-tier research in the USA, P64NE118 / P64GE118 delivers consistent output even in challenging field environments. By combining stress tolerance with high-quality oil content, this hybrid serves as a reliable choice for operations that prioritize simplicity, disease resistance, and reliable profitability throughout the growing season.
