Sunflower FD18CL58

Crop stability even in difficult conditions

When planning the sowing season, you don't want to play a guessing game with crop diseases. The FD18SL58 sunflower hybrid from VNIS solves one of the main agronomic concerns — peace of mind for the field.

The first thing you notice during harvesting is the head performance. It is large and densely packed. Losses during combine operation are minimal because the seeds don't shatter prematurely. The seeds are black, medium-sized, easy to calibrate, and flow well through the seed drill without any plugging in the metering units.

Protection that actually works

The most unpleasant thing in our climate is downy mildew. FD18SL58 shows excellent resistance here, which saves a lot of money on fungicides. It’s also a relief not to deal with powdery mildew. For those practicing intensive farming, this means you don't have to be out in the field with a sprayer every two weeks.

• Emergence: stable, even with spring temperature fluctuations.
• Technology: the hybrid is well-adapted to local soils, requiring no overly complex agrochemical inputs.
• Harvesting: the head holds its shape and doesn't dry out too early, allowing for comfortable harvest scheduling.

Frankly speaking, FD18SL58 is not about experiments; it’s about predictable results. The seed quality is high, sowing is smooth, and disease pressure is low. In the current economic climate, such a hybrid provides the foundation for farm profitability.
