Sunflower Tarhan

Stability and Yield Potential

The «Tarkhan» sunflower from the Ukrainian producer «Voskor-Agro» is a breeding solution focused on intensive farming. In the face of Ukraine's variable climate, this variety demonstrates resilience, allowing farmers to plan their yields with a high degree of confidence. The development by the «Voskor-Agro» brand relies on adaptability to local soil types, making this seed material in demand across various agro-climatic zones of the country.

Morphological Features and Development

The plant is characterized by strong growth energy. The stem height varies between 190–200 cm, which is an optimal indicator for mechanized harvesting — this habitus ensures efficient combine operation without excessive biomass loss. A key characteristic of the model is its large head (capitulum), which, when cultivation technology is followed, ensures full seed filling.

• Type: sunflower variety focused on large-seed production.
• Seed size: large, highly valued in both the processing industry and the snack segment.
• Adaptability: the variety successfully withstands moderate stress factors characteristic of steppe and forest-steppe regions.

The market reputation of «Tarkhan» is built on a combination of yield predictability and stable physical and chemical seed properties. Choosing seed material from «Voskor-Agro» means investing in domestic selection that takes into account the specifics of Ukrainian farms, from planting density to response to crop protection systems.
