Sunflower Azil

Stability and Efficiency of the Azil Sunflower Hybrid

For farmers operating in regions with moderate moisture, the "Azil" sunflower hybrid from STOV LNZ-Agro is a strategic choice. This simple hybrid exhibits highly predictable behavior in the field, which is critical for planning an efficient harvesting campaign.

Key Advantages

• Clearfield Technology: A clean field free of weeds and broomrape is the model's main asset. Integration into the "Clearfield" system allows for the control of stubborn weeds without damaging the crop itself.
• Maturation Dynamics: With a 105–110 day growing season, Azil belongs to the mid-early maturity group. This allows growers to harvest before autumn rains begin and clears the land in time for winter crop sowing.
• Morphological Features: The plants reach 160–180 cm in height, which simplifies the operation of combine headers. The large head provides high yield potential, while the oil content of 48–52% makes the grain highly valued by processors.

Why Choose Azil?

This hybrid is ideal for operations that prioritize intensive cultivation technologies. Its genetic resistance to the imidazolinone herbicide group eliminates the need for complex tank mixtures. However, it is essential to remember that achieving its full oil potential depends directly on plant density. Avoiding over-seeding allows each head to form fully and fill properly.

Azil offers the perfect balance between simple field management and high-quality grain output. If your priority is controlled yield and predictable results using the Clearfield system, this hybrid is a sound investment.
