Sunflower variety Buleria is a mid-season oilseed hybrid developed using classical cultivation technology. Its vegetation period is 105 days, allowing effective use in various climatic conditions, including steppes, forest-steppe, and meadows. The hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to different soil types, making it a versatile choice for farmers. Plant height reaches about 160 cm, and the flower head diameter is approximately 23 cm with a tilt of about 75°, which promotes optimal growth and harvest. One of the key advantages of the Buleria variety is high resistance to aggressive races of downy mildew (wolf) types A-G, as well as diseases such as fomopsis, fomosis, gray and white rot. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to lodging, significantly reducing yield losses and simplifying harvest. Thanks to its high heat and drought tolerance, Buleria is an optimal choice for cultivation in arid regions, ensuring stable and high yields even under adverse weather conditions. Buleria is characterized by high oil content — around 50% — making it attractive for oilseed production. Recommended seeding density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand under sufficient moisture. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 35-38 centners per hectare in various regions, and up to 55 centners under optimal conditions. All these characteristics make sunflower Buleria a reliable and highly efficient choice for modern agricultural enterprises.
