Crop Stability with 'Heracles'

In the sugar beet market, the 'Heracles' hybrid from Syngenta holds the position of a reliable workhorse for growers who prioritize consistency over risky high-yield experiments. Its strength lies in comprehensive pathogen resistance, making it an ideal choice for regions with high infectious pressure.

A Genetic Shield for Your Harvest

The core advantage of 'Heracles' is its powerful genetic immunity. Syngenta’s breeding program focused on countering the most persistent sugar beet threats:

• Rhizomania: Highly effective resistance against necrotic yellowing virus.
• Cercospora Leaf Spot: Enhanced leaf physiology ensures the crop remains active even under high-humidity conditions.
• Root Rots: 'Heracles' demonstrates excellent survival in challenging soils prone to oomycete infections.

Agronomic Profile

This hybrid belongs to the 'Normal' (N) type, striking an ideal balance between root mass accumulation and sugar content. The round shape of the root crop is particularly beneficial for mechanical harvesting, ensuring low soil tare and minimal damage during extraction. The plant is adaptable, tolerating various farming practices while maintaining consistent productivity even with minor management deviations.

Who Should Choose This Hybrid?

'Heracles' is optimal for farmers managing fields prone to leaf diseases or soil-borne pathogens. It is a decision rooted in stability: you trade the unpredictable performance of 'fussy' high-potential hybrids for a guaranteed, marketable yield. When paired with standard Syngenta fungicide programs, 'Heracles' ensures a consistent sugar harvest, keeping roots healthy right up until the day of harvest.
