Description LG 5463 KL
LG 5463 KL — an early-maturing sunflower hybrid with high yield potential and adapted to various growing conditions. It is characterized by high initial growth energy and plasticity, allowing successful cultivation in areas with varying levels of moisture. The hybrid exhibits excellent drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with limited rainfall.

One of the key features of LG 5463 KL is its resistance to the herbicide EURO-LIGHTNING within the CLEARFIELD production system, which simplifies weed control and enhances the effectiveness of agronomic practices. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to races A–G of downy mildew and tolerant to new races of false powdery mildew, providing protection against common diseases and contributing to stable yield formation.

Plants reach an average height of about 156–165 cm, with an average flower head diameter ranging from 15.5 to 18 cm, and a 1000-seed weight of 60–72 g, indicating large seed size and high seed quality. The recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions and ranges from 45,000 to 60,000 plants per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates high yields up to 50 centners per hectare and oil content of about 52%, making it profitable for cultivation aimed at producing high-quality oil.
