LG5463 CL

Sunflower LG5463 CL is an early hybrid developed by Limagrain, characterized by high initial growth energy and adaptability to various cultivation conditions. This hybrid is recommended for sowing in southern regions of Ukraine, where it demonstrates excellent drought resistance, ensuring stable yields even under insufficient moisture.

LG5463 CL has high resistance to race A, B, C, D, E, F, G of downy mildew, as well as to new strains of false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses due to diseases. In addition, the hybrid is compatible with the herbicide Euro-Lightning in the CLEARFIELD system, facilitating weed control and enhancing the effectiveness of agronomic practices.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential — up to 50 centners per hectare, with seed thousand weight ranging from 60 to 70.5 grams, and average head diameter varying from 15.5 to 17 cm. Average plant height reaches approximately 165 cm. Recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: in adequately moist zones — 50-55 thousand plants per hectare, in dry zones — 45-50 thousand per hectare. High oil content in seeds makes this hybrid attractive for oilseed production.
