LG5485 — mid-early sunflower hybrid developed by Limagrain, characterized by high yield and stability. This hybrid belongs to the mid-height maturity group, reaching an average height of about 160 cm, with a 1,000-seed weight of 72 g and a flower head diameter of 16 cm. Due to its characteristics, LG5485 is suitable for intensive cultivation techniques and demonstrates good results in oil extraction.

One of the key features of LG5485 is its high resistance to stress factors, including drought, allowing successful cultivation in the hot climate of southern Ukraine. The hybrid shows tolerance to 7 races of downy mildew (A-G) and resistance to new races of false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and enhancing cultivation reliability.
