Sunflower ARNEB

The Arneб sunflower hybrid is a medium-early oilseed variety recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. The growing period lasts from 96 to 127 days, depending on the conditions of growth, which allows flexible adaptation of the crop to various farming practices. Plants reach a height of about 185 cm and are characterized by evenness in height, friendly flowering and ripening, which contributes to uniform harvesting.

Arneб has high resistance to a complex of races of sunflower moth (A-E), false powdery mildew, as well as high tolerance to phomopsis, white and gray rot. The hybrid is also resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides, which facilitates weed control and increases the effectiveness of farming practices. The recommended stand density at harvest is 55-60 thousand per hectare, which optimizes land use and promotes achieving high yields.

The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 40-45 c/ha, with an oil content in seeds ranging from 45.7% to 48%, which provides a high oil output — up to 2 tons per hectare. The weight of 1000 seeds is about 50 grams, indicating good seed quality. The hybrid is suitable for traditional cultivation technology and can be successfully cultivated both on irrigated and rainfed lands, making it a versatile choice for oil production.
