IOLEN

IOLEN Sunflower is an early-maturing hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia and forest-steppe regions. This variety exhibits high adaptability to high temperatures and resistance to lodging, enabling harvest with minimal losses. Recommended seeding density varies depending on soil moisture conditions: 65,000 seeds per hectare under adequate moisture, 63,000 under insufficient moisture, and 60,000 in drought-prone areas.

The IOLEN hybrid has a high oil content — up to 52%, with oleic acid predominating in the range of 88–92%, making it a high-oleic variety. Plants have medium height and demonstrate good agronomic performance, including early growth rates, drought resistance, and lodging resistance, rated 7–8 points on respective scales.

Special attention has been given to the resistance of the IOLEN sunflower to major diseases: fusarium, fomosis, rust, white rot, and downy mildew, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. Due to these characteristics, the hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality, high-oleic product.
