Stability and Phytosanitary Reliability: The Goldсан Sunflower

When choosing a hybrid, agronomists look for a balance between yield potential and a plant's innate immunity. Limagrain’s Goldсан (Голдсан) offers a robust solution for those farming in intensive crop rotation systems. With a vegetation period of 110–120 days, this hybrid occupies the mid-early maturity segment, allowing farmers to schedule harvesting without the risk of late-season weather interference.

A Defensive Shield Against Major Threats

The core strength of the Goldсан hybrid lies in its comprehensive resistance. In fields where infectious pressure has accumulated over years of cultivation, this hybrid proves its value by demonstrating high resistance to:

• Various rot diseases affecting the head and roots (white rot, ash rot, phomopsis, and phoma).
• Peronospora (downy mildew), a critical factor in high-moisture regions.
• Sunflower broomrape, a parasitic plant capable of wiping out significant portions of a crop.

Standing at a height of 140–150 cm with a medium-sized head, the plant is ergonomically designed for modern harvesting machinery. This structure reduces mechanical losses and simplifies field management during the growing season.

Why choose Goldсан?

This Limagrain hybrid is a top-tier choice for operations utilizing conventional farming technologies. It acts as a preemptive defense: while other hybrids might require intensive fungicide intervention, Goldсан utilizes its genetic makeup to withstand common threats naturally. It is best suited for regions with high infectious pressure where the risk of fungal diseases or broomrape is above average, providing a reliable foundation for consistent yields.
