Common sunflower LG 56.35

Ensuring Consistent Yields: The LG 5635 Advantage

French breeding from Limagrain is synonymous with reliability, and the LG 5635 hybrid proves this in the field. In today’s volatile climate, farmers require a solution that remains resilient despite high humidity or pathogen pressure. This medium-maturing sunflower (110–120 days of vegetation) acts as an “insurance policy” for farms operating in high-risk zones.

A Phytosanitary Shield for Your Crop

The core practical value of LG 5635 lies in its complex resistance to pathogens that can reduce potential yield by 20–30%. If your fields have previously suffered from blight outbreaks, this hybrid is a strategic choice:

• Blight Defense: The hybrid shows excellent resistance to white mold (head and root), gray mold, and charcoal rot, reducing the need for aggressive fungicide interventions.
• Control of Phoma and Phomopsis: High tolerance to these diseases protects the leaf surface, which is critical for filling large, high-quality seeds.
• Downy Mildew Resistance: Genetic protection prevents significant losses during the early growth stages.

Practical Agronomic Management

The plant features a well-balanced stature (140–150 cm), facilitating smooth harvesting operations and minimizing lodging risks during heavy winds. The medium-sized head, paired with large-sized seeds, ensures excellent hectoliter weight and oil output.

Field recommendation: LG 5635 reaches its full potential when sown according to optimal timing and sound crop rotation practices. With a 110–120 day growth cycle, the hybrid matures ahead of extreme late-summer heatwaves or moisture deficits. It is the ideal choice for producers who prioritize stable, high-quality yields with efficient use of crop protection resources.
