Common sunflower LG 56.69 CL

Stability and Protection: Why Agronomists Choose LG 5669 CL

In the sunflower segment for the Clearfield technology, the French hybrid LG 5669 CL by Limagrain occupies the niche of a "workhorse." It is the choice for those who prioritize not just yield potential, but predictable results under high infection pressure.

A Phytosanitary Shield

The main strength of LG 5669 CL is its pronounced resistance to a complex of rots. In years with excessive moisture, when other hybrids succumb to Phoma, Phomopsis, or downy mildew, this sunflower maintains the health of its stem and head. High tolerance to white and charcoal rot allows for reliable planning even on fields with non-optimal crop rotation.

Agronomic Profile

The plant grows to a medium height (140–150 cm) and features a strong stem, minimizing the risk of lodging during strong winds. A vegetation period of 110–120 days classifies it as a mid-early hybrid, ensuring a timely and comfortable harvest.

• Oil Content: consistently high (45–50%), making the seeds highly attractive to processors.
• Herbicide Protection: full compatibility with the CLEARFIELD system allows for effective control of broomrape and a wide range of weeds without the risk of phytotoxicity.

Who Should Grow This Hybrid?

LG 5669 CL is ideal for farmers working in regions with high weed pressure and a risk of fungal diseases. It is a reliable, high-tech hybrid that delivers consistent performance. If your goal is a predictable grain output with high oil yield and minimal risk of crop loss due to disease, LG 5669 CL will be the cornerstone of your farming season.
