F7 AZ4 MOA is a high-yielding sunflower hybrid developed using Sumo technology and intended for cultivation with the herbicide Granstar. The hybrid was developed by the Serbian Institute of Agriculture and Vegetable Growing in Novi Sad, and is produced under the brand name "EUROSEM". The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 55-58 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — from 50 to 53%, making it attractive for the oil industry.
The sunflower plants of F7 AZ4 MOA have a vegetation period of approximately 105-107 days and a height of 165-175 cm. The hybrid is resistant to 6-7 strains of parasitic weed Orobanche cumana (broomrape), as well as to diseases such as fomopsis, downy mildew, rust, white and gray mold, septoria, and alternaria. Additionally, the crop demonstrates good drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation under water-deficit conditions.
To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to use tank mixes with adhesives at a rate of 200-300 ml per hectare. The optimal plant density at harvest is 55,000 — 60,000 plants per hectare. Seeds undergo quality processing and are available in various technological solutions, such as Base, Optimum, and Premium, ensuring flexibility in cultivation and treatment methods. All these characteristics make the F7 AZ4 MOA hybrid a reliable and efficient choice for modern farmers.
