Sunflower F7 BP2 IA is an ultra-early simple modified hybrid, characterized by high growth intensity at the initial stage of vegetation and adapted to unfavorable environmental conditions. The vegetation period is about 100-115 days, which allows for early harvest. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, have a medium stem, and a moderately deep root system that provides resistance to drought and heat. The hybrid has a large, flat or thin-type head with a diameter of 18-24 cm, which contributes to high productivity.

The hybrid is distinguished by high oil content of seeds, which varies within the range of 49-53%, while hull content is about 21-25%. The mass of 1000 seeds is in the range of 60-75 grams, and shell thickness reaches 99.7%. The genetic yield potential exceeds 50 c/ha, confirmed by average yield indicators of about 37 c/ha in trials. Thanks to high drought and heat resistance, as well as low shattering, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in complex climatic conditions, including southern regions.

Special attention is paid to resistance to diseases and pests. The hybrid is genetically resistant to 7+ strains of sunflower downy mildew (A-G+), which expands the possibilities of its use in areas with high infestation by this parasite. In addition, it has resistance to downy mildew, gray and white molds, rust, as well as moderate resistance to phomopsis, phoma, alternaria, and cotton bollworm. High tolerance to the herbicide tribenuron-methyl (Granstar) allows effective weed control during cultivation of this hybrid.
