Sunflower ES BOYANIS CL

Consistent performance for your fields

Working with EC Boyanis KL, you quickly realize it is a reliable choice for farmers who prioritize predictability over volatile record-breaking yields. The French breeding expertise of Euralis Semences is evident here: the hybrid behaves consistently across various environments, reducing the risk of failure.

Tech and Field Management

The standout feature is its compatibility with Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) technology. If your fields struggle with broomrape or persistent weeds, this sunflower variety provides the necessary herbicide flexibility to keep the fields clean throughout the growing season. The plants reach 170-180 cm in height, remaining sturdy without lodging, which makes the harvesting process much smoother. The medium-sized, semi-convex heads ripen uniformly.

Key Specifications

• Vegetation cycle: Ranges from 90 to 110 days, allowing for efficient planning of the harvesting window.
• Oil content: Consistent 45-50% levels. Processors value this hybrid for its reliable quality output.
• Disease resistance: A strong suite of resistance against Sclerotinia, Downy Mildew, Phomopsis, and Phoma. This genetic protection drastically reduces the need for constant fungicide intervention.

For an agronomist, this hybrid is a pleasure to manage. It doesn't require unnecessary experimentation: you plant it, apply the herbicide as planned, and receive the expected yield. In an era of unpredictable weather patterns, the robustness and reliability of EC Boyanis KL make it a staple for any serious farming operation.
