Flax Ukrainian 3

Breeding legacy for the agricultural sector

The oilseed flax variety "Ukrainskyi 3" is the result of long-term breeding efforts conducted by the National Scientific Center "Institute of Agriculture of NAAS". This variety occupies a significant position in the portfolio of crops developed specifically to perform well within the diverse soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine.

Agrobiological profile

The plant is characterized by a compact structure with a height ranging from 50 to 60 cm. During the flowering stage, the fields are easily identifiable by their characteristic blue blossoms. These morphological traits are optimized for mechanized harvesting, which helps to minimize seed losses and reduce processing costs.

Market reputation and application

Over its years on the market, "Ukrainskyi 3" has established a solid reputation as a reliable source of high-quality grain with a stable oil content. Its primary use is industrial processing: the oil is highly valued in the paint, chemical, and printing industries, while the residual oilcake serves as a protein-rich additive in livestock feed mixtures. Producers often prefer this variety due to its predictable yields and resilience in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine.
