Azhur

Azhur sunflower is a high-yielding hybrid of the oilseed type belonging to the linoleic type. It is characterized by high oil content in seeds, making it particularly valuable for oil production. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine, demonstrating excellent adaptability to various growing conditions.

Azhur belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a vegetation period ranging from 107 to 115 days. Plants reach a height of 165-175 cm, and the optimal seeding density is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare. The yield of the hybrid reaches 4.3 tons per hectare, confirming its high productivity and stability under various climatic conditions.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, allowing effective application of products such as Express or Granstar for weed control. Additionally, Azhur is resistant to virulent strains of false powdery mildew and strains of downy mildew from A to G, ensuring reliable protection and reducing the risk of yield losses. Developed by Agro-rhythm (Lybashivka), this sunflower combines high adaptability, disease resistance, and excellent agronomic performance.
