Sunflower RIMINI

Working with Rimini

Working with Sidway Rimini in the field, you immediately notice the predictability of this hybrid. For an agronomist, consistency is key, and this simple hybrid performs admirably. Standing at 160–170 cm, the plants remain upright, preventing lodging and making the harvest process much easier for the combine operator. The large, black seeds aren't just visually appealing; they provide an excellent yield with 45–50% oil content, which translates into real profit at the elevator.

Agronomy and Crop Protection

The best part about working with this sunflower is the peace of mind. Its tolerance to Euro-Lightning herbicides gives you significant flexibility in weed control. You can spray the field without worrying about crop damage, which is a huge advantage on weed-infested plots. The disease resistance profile holds up well, too: downy mildew and powdery mildew are kept at bay as long as you follow basic fungicide application guidelines.

• A vegetation period of 100–110 days allows for precise harvest planning, avoiding late-autumn rains.
• The large seeds are easy to plant and ensure uniform distribution in the seedbed for even germination.
• High initial growth vigor helps the plants close the canopy quickly.

Managing a Rimini crop doesn't require specialized skills or overly complex protection schemes.
