Sunflower Anshlag

Stable Yields with Reliable Genetics

When selecting seeds for challenging field conditions, farmers often look for the perfect balance between low maintenance and yield potential. The 'Anshlag' sunflower hybrid from OVP 'Pokrovskoye' is a prime example of breeding tailored to the real-world demands of modern farming, where weather conditions are rarely ideal.

Agronomic Overview

The first thing you notice in the field is the uniformity of the crop. The plants reach a height of 190–200 cm, making the harvesting process straightforward and efficient. The large seed size is more than just a visual benefit; it ensures higher bushel weight, which directly impacts your final profitability.

Field Performance and Management

• Resilience: The variety shows remarkable adaptability to environmental stress, which is essential in regions with unpredictable rainfall.
• Harvesting Efficiency: The sturdy stalk and strong head design prevent lodging during high winds, significantly reducing harvest losses.
• Breeding Standards: Developed by OVP 'Pokrovskoye' in partnership with leading research institutes, this variety guarantees seed purity and consistent growth cycles.

In terms of farm management, this sunflower does not require overly complex crop protection programs. It is highly responsive to standard agronomic practices. Working with 'Anshlag' feels like relying on a 'workhorse' that responds predictably to fertilization and proper planting schedules. For any farming operation, this means less risk and more confidence when it comes to harvest time.
