Sugar beet Jadeit

Field Experience: Why 'Jadeit' Is Your Risk-Management Tool

When you work with sugar beet hybrids from KHBC Sp. z o.o., you quickly realize that Polish breeding focuses on survival rather than just aesthetics. 'Jadeit' has proven itself to be a 'bulletproof' option for those who want to avoid gambling with fungicides during the peak of the season.

A Sanitary Shield

The biggest headache for any sugar beet grower is Cercospora and powdery mildew, which can destroy the potential yield in just a few weeks. With 'Jadeit,' this issue is much easier to manage. The hybrid is genetically conditioned to hold its ground: the foliage remains healthy for a longer period, allowing you to delay spraying or stick to a minimal protection program. As for root rot, there are no complaints here. Even in seasons with excessive moisture, when the soil turns into mud, the root crop maintains its structural integrity.

Field Performance

The geometry of the root crop follows a classic oval-conical shape of medium size. This makes combine adjustment easy: harvest losses are minimal because the shape allows it to 'pop' out of the ground cleanly without extra cleaning efforts. It does not snap during digging, which is critical for the purity of the crop transported to the sugar factory. For an operator, this means less debris in the hopper and smoother operation of harvesting machinery.

• Stability: No issues with rot during storage and transportation.
• Efficiency: Uniformity of the root crops simplifies machine harvesting.
• Protection: Proven immunity against a complex of fungal leaf diseases.

If you are looking for a hybrid that forgives oversights in protection and consistently yields tonnage even in stressful years, 'Jadeit' is your go-to tool. This isn't the case where you have to baby every acre; you plant it, follow the schedule, and get a predictable result.
