Technological Architecture of the Yarisa Hybrid

In developing the Yarisa hybrid, the Polish breeding center KHBC Sp. z o.o. focused on optimizing metabolic processes within the root. The development is rooted in selective breeding aimed at maintaining stability in sugar content across diverse soil and climatic conditions.

The oval-conical shape of the root is an engineering solution that strikes a balance between soil depth penetration and ease of mechanical harvesting. The geometry of Yarisa minimizes losses during leaf topping and reduces soil tare when fed into sugar beet harvesters.
