Sugar beet variety Ural is a single-seed diploid hybrid on a sterile N-type base, specially developed for cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and product quality. In the Central Chernozem region, the average root yield reaches 530 ц/ha with sugar content of 17.4%, ensuring a sugar harvest of 92.1 ц/ha. In the North Caucasus region, the yield is 485 ц/ha, sugar content — 16.9%, and sugar harvest — 82.6 ц/ha. Root mass varies from 512 to 561 g depending on the growing region.
Ural roots have a white oval-conical shape with dense, sugary flesh. Due to its high sugar content and other nutrients such as protein, fat, fiber, and vitamins, this variety is not only effective for sugar production but also an excellent feed for livestock. Sugar beet tops can be used fresh or silage, as well as for making herbal flour, which contributes to increased milk yield.
Sugar beet variety Ural is resistant to diseases and easy to cultivate, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions. These qualities ensure stable and high yields, which is especially important for agricultural enterprises focused on sugar and feed production.
