Malibu

The Malibu sugar beet hybrid is a mid-late, high-yielding variety characterized by high ecological plasticity. This quality ensures a stable high yield regardless of weather conditions, making it universal for various regions, including the Polissya, forest-steppe, Central, Ural, and Middle Volga regions. Malibu has a yield potential of up to 1000 c/ha, with an average yield of about 100-110 t/ha, and sugar content in roots ranging from 15.9% to 19%, indicating high product quality.

One of the key features of the hybrid is its high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, such as rhizomania and cercosporosis. This significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and decreases the need for frequent application of protective agents. Additionally, Malibu seeds are treated with the Magnus Forte preparation, which ensures additional protection of plants in the early growth stages.

To achieve optimal yield, it is recommended to observe a sowing rate of 1 to 1.3 planting units per hectare, with a plant density at harvest of about 90 thousand per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and soil-climatic zones, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking to obtain a stable and high-quality sugar beet harvest.
