Sunflower INSUN 322 CLP

Consistent Yields in Stressful Conditions

Lidea’s French breeding expertise delivers the INSAN 322 KLP sunflower hybrid, a reliable tool for farmers aiming to manage weed pressure without compromising yield potential. Designed as a simple hybrid for the Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) production system, it offers an effective solution for controlling tough weeds directly during the vegetative stage.

Practical Field Application

The primary reason farmers choose INSAN 322 KLP is its ability to perform in fields with heavy weed infestation where mechanical weeding proves insufficient. With a short vegetation period of 90-100 days, this hybrid fits perfectly into intensive crop rotations where timely field clearance for winter crop sowing is critical.

Field performance is defined by its robust health profile, which minimizes management risks:

• Phytosanitary Stability: Inherent resistance to Verticillium wilt, rust, and Phomopsis reduces the reliance on intensive fungicide programs.
• Peronospora Defense: High tolerance to Downy Mildew ensures that the leaf canopy remains functional throughout the critical seed-filling stage.

Utilizing imidazolinone-based herbicides with this hybrid allows for the total elimination of broomrape and competing weeds, enabling the crop to maximize its growth energy. INSAN 322 KLP is the ideal choice for growers practicing resource-efficient farming who prioritize quick maturation and predictable results at harvest time.
