Description Eldorado
Eldorado sugar beet is a diploid NZ-type hybrid that provides high sugar yield and is characterized by stable productivity. In the 2009 state variety trials at the Man'kovskoy DSS, root crop yield reached 77 tons per hectare with sugar content of 19%. This hybrid features rapid early growth and early maturity, enabling effective use under various agronomic conditions, including irrigation.

Eldorado exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including rhizomania, cercosporosis, and powdery mildew. It is also resistant to lodging, which helps maintain root crop quality during storage and transportation. Deep root placement in the soil ensures good storability in crates, which is crucial for long-term storage of the harvest.

Hybrid seeds are treated with Poncho Beta (Bayer) and packaged in 1 kg boxes. Depending on the type of treatment, the seed quantity is 40,000 for pelleted and 55,000 for coated seeds. Seed quality is high: germination exceeds 90%, uniformity is over 94%, purity is above 99%, single-planting rate is more than 95%, and moisture content does not exceed 10%. Recommended for medium harvest periods and suitable for cultivation on irrigated land.
