Sugar beet Attack

The ATTACK sugar beet hybrid is a nematode-resistant crop with high yield potential and excellent disease resistance. It is genetically resistant to various pathogens, including powdery mildew, root pit rot, cercosporosis, as well as root-lesion nematodes and cyst nematodes. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in regions with a risk of nematode infestation and in crop rotations saturated with sugar beet and rapeseed.

ATTACK is characterized by a medium-late maturity period — 150-170 days, which allows the hybrid to reach yield-ready maturity at optimal times. The roots have a conical shape with a small root crown and penetrate into the soil up to 80% of their height, which contributes to their good development and preservation. The mass of one root is about 600-653 grams, and yield varies within the range of 494-900 c/ha depending on growing conditions and agronomy.

The sugar content of the hybrid is at the level of 17.7-19%, which ensures a high sugar yield — up to 96.5 c/ha. The hybrid demonstrates stable yield and sugar content indicators even with moderate and strong nematode infestation. To achieve maximum results, intensive cultivation technology with early sowing and later harvest collection is recommended, as well as the use of soils with medium and high agro-technical potential and sufficient moisture. Recommended growing zones include the Polesye, Forest-steppe, Steppe, and other soil-climatic zones of the beet belt.
