Plants are characterized by high developmental energy in early stages, enabling efficient use of soil moisture and forming high yield potential up to 45 ц/ha. Mature plants reach a height of 140-170 cm, possess strong stems and large leaves, contributing to resistance against lodging. The hybrid's head is semi-spherical, with a diameter of 18-20 cm, slightly tilted downward, facilitating harvesting and good seed filling by the end of flowering. Flowering occurs 70-75 days after emergence, which is considered medium-late. During this period, plants are actively visited by flower-visiting insects and honeybees, significantly improving pollination and promoting high-quality yield formation. Sunflower seeds of PAN 901 have a 1000-seed mass within the range of 55-65 g, black in color, and contain a high oil content — 48-50% in dry matter, making the hybrid attractive for oil production. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including fusarium, fusarium wilt, white and gray rot, as well as high resistance to lodging. A distinctive feature of PAN 901 is its resistance to sunflower downy mildew types A-F, significantly expanding its cultivation potential in various agroclimatic conditions.
