Nokhovsky is suitable for growing on garden plots, suburban and farms. It is recommended to use seeds that are sown from late April to early May at a depth of 2-3 cm with row spacings of 35-40 cm and distances between plants 6-8 cm. After the emergence of shoots, thinning is necessary to ensure optimal growth. Care for the plant includes regular watering, fertilizing, and weeding. Two weeks before harvest, irrigation stops, which contributes to improving the quality of root crops.

Nokhovsky beet is widely used in cooking for making traditional dishes such as borscht, salads, and side dishes.
