Feed Beet LEMPE

Field Performance of Lampa Fodder Beet

The «Lampa» variety, bred by Florimond-Desprez Veuve et Fils, has proven to be a reliable choice for commercial livestock operations.

Harvesting and Equipment Efficiency

From an operator's perspective, the physical characteristics of the Lampa root are key. The pink-red roots feature an uniform shape that is exceptionally well-suited for mechanical harvesting. You spend less time clearing clogged conveyors and more time covering ground.

Storage and Processing

Since the variety is specifically aimed at processing, the flesh density is optimized for long-term storage in piles. When it goes through the shredder, the tissue holds up well, ensuring the final feed mix is consistent. Maintaining the machinery is straightforward; the plants grow in a way that minimizes excess leafy trash getting into the shredding mechanism.

• Optimized for mechanical harvesting systems.
• High storage stability with low spoilage rates.
• Consistent dry matter output for efficient processing.

If you need a variety that bridges the gap between field efficiency and storage reliability, Lampa from Florimond-Desprez Veuve et Fils is a solid, no-nonsense choice. It handles well under intensive production schedules and delivers the high-quality forage that justifies the input costs.
