Bonel

Bonel table beet is a mid-early variety of Dutch selection from Hazera with a vegetation period of 110-115 days from seedling emergence. This variety is versatile and suitable for growing in various climatic regions of Ukraine, as well as on different soil types, developing especially well on nutrient-rich, loose loams under the condition of regular watering, thinning, and fertilization. Bonel is distinguished by its resistance to bolting and the ability to recover quickly after unfavorable effects, which ensures a stable yield.

Bonel beet fruits have a round shape, medium size with a diameter of 9-12 cm and a weight of 250-300 g. The skin is smooth, dark in color with a red tint, which is more saturated than the core. The flesh differs in a uniform dark red or reddish-burgundy color without radial light rings, which is a characteristic feature of the variety. The dry matter content reaches 16%, and sugar - 12%, which ensures excellent taste qualities and pleasant product aroma.

The Bonel variety is characterized by high marketability and uniformity of fruits, which makes it in demand both for market implementation and for long-term storage and processing. The recommended sowing density is about 8-10 kg of seeds per hectare. Thanks to its universal properties and resistance, Bonel beet is an excellent choice for growing in various regions and conditions.
