Description
Cabbage white variety NUMBER ONE POLAR K 206® is an early-maturing, cold-hardy variety known for its high yield and excellent taste qualities. The vegetative period is 100-110 days, allowing for early production during the summer. This variety is successfully grown in various climatic conditions, including harsh regions of Siberia, the Far East, and the Far North, such as Yakutia and the Magadan region.
The leaf rosette is semi-erect, leaves are round, green with a medium-intensity waxy coating and a weakly wavy edge. Heads have a round or round-flat shape, weighing from 1 to 3.2 kg, with medium density and an inner stalk length from 9 to 18 cm. Head color is greenish-white. The variety is resistant to flowering and cabbage maggot damage, which contributes to stable and quality harvest.
Cabbage NUMBER ONE POLAR K 206® is suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and long-term storage until the end of December, and in northern regions — until January. For cultivation, it is recommended to sow seedlings in March with a sowing depth of 0.5-1.0 cm, thinning at the cotyledon stage, and planting seedlings in the ground from May 5 to May 15 according to a 40x60 cm scheme. The variety's high yield reaches up to 10.4 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for agricultural purposes.
