Spinach SCULPTUR

Consistency and Quality: The Nunhems Standard

The «Sculptur» spinach hybrid from the Dutch breeding leader Nunhems is designed for growers who prioritize predictability. In an industry where one disease outbreak can compromise an entire harvest, Sculptur offers a robust biological defense system, making it a cornerstone for professional operations.

Advanced Resistance Profile

The most compelling feature of Sculptur is its genetic resilience. By offering high resistance to Spinach Downy Mildew (Peronospora), this hybrid significantly reduces the dependency on frequent fungicide applications. Furthermore, its proven tolerance to Fusarium makes it an ideal candidate for fields with historically challenging soil conditions, where other varieties would likely succumb to wilt.

Market-Leading Visual Appeal

True to its name, Sculptur delivers a product with excellent physical form. The foliage features a deep, dark green color that signals freshness and high nutritional value to the consumer. This vibrant appearance remains stable throughout the supply chain, ensuring that the product maintains its shelf appeal from the packing house to the supermarket display.

Strategic Advantages for Growers

• Efficiency: Lower costs associated with disease management due to built-in genetic resistance.
• Durability: Superior leaf density that holds up well during transportation and retail storage.
• Reliability: Consistent performance across different soil types, specifically in areas prone to soil-borne pathogens.

Sculptur is not just a seed; it is a management tool for the modern agronomist. While it demands standard best-practice cultivation, its response to high-quality inputs is exceptional, providing a reliable yield that meets the high standards of the fresh produce market.
