Soybean Masha

Stability and Quality: The Breeding Achievement of the IMC NAAS

The 'Masha' soybean variety is the result of extensive breeding work by the Institute of Oilseed Crops of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. As a mid-early ripening culture, it has proven itself over years of field trials and commercial use as a reliable tool for achieving stable yields in the volatile climate conditions of the steppe and forest-steppe zones.

Unlike many imported hybrids, 'Masha' is specifically adapted to local soil and climatic realities. Its genetic potential is focused not only on total grain yield but also on high commodity quality, which is critical for processing enterprises.

Key Quality Indicators

• Protein content: 35–37%.
• Oil content: 22–23%.

This balance makes 'Masha' a versatile solution: it is in demand both in the food industry and in the production of high-protein feed for livestock. High protein concentration combined with optimal oil content ensures steady demand from buyers serving both export and domestic markets.

Agronomic Profile

The variety demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging and seed shattering, allowing for mechanized harvesting with minimal losses, even under unfavorable weather conditions at the end of the season. Its lack of reliance on overly expensive intensive technologies makes 'Masha' an economically attractive choice for farms of all scales—from small family holdings to large agro-holdings focused on production cost optimization.

By choosing this variety, farmers rely on a time-tested breeding school that offers predictable results and high-quality final products without unnecessary risks.
