Privat sunflower is a simple modified hybrid resistant to the herbicide tribenuron-methyl (Granstar) at a rate of 50 g/ha. This intensive-type hybrid was registered since 2019 and is intended for cultivation using the Granstar/Sumo technology. The vegetation period ranges from 110 to 115 days, and plant height reaches 165-170 cm. The flower head is large, flat, with a diameter of 18-24 cm, and has high leafiness, which promotes effective photosynthesis and crop development.

Privat sunflower seeds have high weight — 1000 seeds weigh 61-62 grams, with a shell content of 99.7% and oil content of 21-22%. The oil content in seeds ranges from 50 to 52%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production. The genetic yield potential reaches 60 centners per hectare, confirming the high productivity of the variety.

The hybrid Privat has high resistance to diseases and pests. It is genetically resistant to seven races of downy mildew (A-G+), false powdery mildew, as well as resistant to gray and white mold and rust. Additionally, the sunflower is adapted to adverse environmental conditions, exhibits high drought tolerance and low shattering, ensuring stable yields even under challenging climatic conditions. Seeds undergo coating and treatment with fungicides, growth stimulators, and polymer dye, further enhancing their quality and germination rate.
