Danaya soybean variety is a mid-season grain type, recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones. This variety was developed by Kazakh breeders from the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Production. The vegetation period in the Almaty region is 123-127 days, and plant height reaches 115-130 cm. The yield potential of this variety ranges from 4.5 to 5.4 t/ha, ensuring high productivity under proper care and cultivation conditions. Danaya soybean is characterized by high protein content in the seeds — from 37% to 39.7%, as well as oil content of about 19.5%. The seeds have a yellow color with a smooth matte surface, spherical shape, and yellow hilum. The pod is gray, and the flower is purple. The 1000-seed weight is approximately 165 g. The variety demonstrates resistance to major diseases and stress factors, contributing to stable yields and reduced losses under adverse conditions. Danaya adapts well to intensive cultivation technologies and is recommended for sowing at a density of about 450,000 plants per hectare at harvest time, and up to 550,000 plants per hectare under irrigation conditions. Due to its resistance to lodging and diseases, as well as high protein and oil content, this variety is an advantageous choice for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality, high-yield raw materials.
