WOLVERINE sunflower is a hybrid with high resistance to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl (750 g/kg), providing effective weed control after emergence. This medium-early simple hybrid has a vegetative period of 105–108 days and linoleic-type oil with oil content of 50–51%. Plants reach a height of 165–170 cm, with a flower head diameter of 22–24 cm, contributing to a high yield potential of up to 54 centners/ha, with an average yield of 39 centners/ha over test years. The flower head is convex and downward-sloping, facilitating harvest.

The WOLVERINE hybrid exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases: drought, lodging, mildew, frogepsis, and sclerotinia, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under diverse climatic conditions. Recommended seeding density varies depending on soil moisture — from 55 to 65 thousand plants per hectare. The cultivation technology using the herbicide Granstar (SUMO, Express) enables effective weed control even with limited use of soil herbicides and under unfavorable weather conditions, which is particularly relevant for regions with variable humidity.

WOLVERINE sunflower is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, including Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polесье. It demonstrates high oil content and resistance to pests such as the sunflower moth, contributing to stable and high yields.
