ELISEY

The Elisey soybean variety is a medium-early, tall variety with a deep root system reaching a depth of up to 2.7 meters. It was developed through individual selection from the hybrid combination L-17 x Fora and is distinguished by enhanced cold and drought resistance, making it particularly valuable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Plant height at the latitude of Krasnodar ranges from 97 to 128 cm, and the average duration of the vegetation period is about 119 days. Thanks to its deep root system and frost resistance down to -5 °C, the variety is well adapted to the conditions of the North Caucasus, Lower Volga, and Far Eastern regions of Russia.

Elisey is characterized by high yield, which, according to variety trial results, exceeds the standard variety Slavya by 0.35 t/ha, reaching an average of 2.46 t/ha. The potential yield of the variety is up to 45 c/ha. Seed oil content reaches 22%, and protein content is 41%, indicating high product quality. The variety is also characterized by a reduced reaction to shortened day length and high responsiveness to improved moisture supply, which allows for successful cultivation at very early sowing dates, starting from late March - early April.

The Elisey variety has high resistance to major soybean diseases, including ascochitosis (8 out of 9), fusarium (7 out of 9), bacterial blight (9 out of 9), powdery mildew (9 out of 9), and false powdery mildew (8 out of 9). These characteristics make it a reliable choice for agricultural enterprises aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality soybean yield in various climatic conditions.
