Soybean Amigo

Amigo Soybean: Breeding Excellence

The 'Amigo' soybean variety is a distinct result of targeted selection work conducted by 'Soy Complex Company' (Kompanija Soevyj Kompleks). The variety was brought to market by a team of experienced selectors including Vadim Kaluzhny, Oleg Shirinyan, and Valentin Baranov. This collaboration resulted in a variety designed to address the critical need for pathogen-resistant crops in challenging agricultural environments.

Technical Specifications and Resilience

As a mid-maturing variety, 'Amigo' exhibits a growing season spanning 110 to 120 days. This duration is perfectly calibrated to maximize energy conversion during the critical growth phases, ensuring consistent bean development. The most significant advantage of this variety is its genetic resistance to Fusarium, a common and destructive fungal pathogen. By integrating this resistance, the 'Soy Complex Company' has provided farmers with a tool that requires fewer chemical interventions, fostering a more sustainable approach to soybean cultivation.

Market Position and Reliability

The 'Soy Complex Company' holds the patent and remains the primary developer of this variety. Their strict oversight in seed production ensures that farmers receive high-quality, reliable genetic material. In the market, 'Amigo' is recognized as a resilient and stable option for agricultural producers who prioritize yield consistency over novelty. For farms dealing with high disease pressure, this variety offers a proven, robust defense mechanism, cementing its status as a reliable choice for professional soybean production.
