Description Amarak
Amarok corn is a high-yielding hybrid developed by the VNILS breeding center. Several hybrid variants exist, such as Amarak 290 and Amarak 300, which differ in some agronomic characteristics but are united by high yield and adaptability. Amarak 290 belongs to mid-late maturing hybrids with FAO 320, while Amarak 300 has FAO 330, allowing their use in various climatic zones including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. High grain and green mass output makes this hybrid versatile for producing both grain and silage.

Amarok hybrids are characterized by resistance to major corn diseases such as fusarium, helmintosporiosis, and gray leaf spot, as well as high drought, lodging, and lodging resistance. Plants reach a height of up to 265 cm, and ears form at a height of 90 to 100 cm, contributing to effective yield formation. Recommended planting density varies depending on the growing zone: in adequately moist zones — 80-90 thousand plants per hectare, in drier conditions — 60-70 thousand plants per hectare.

Amarok corn seeds are packaged in multi-layer paper bags, ensuring convenient transportation and material preservation. Due to their low maintenance requirements and adaptability, Amarak hybrids are suitable for cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high yields. This makes them an attractive choice for farmers seeking high-quality and abundant corn harvests.
