Holib CLP

Holib CLP — this is a sunflower hybrid developed for the Clearfield Plus technology, combining high yield, disease resistance, and adaptability to various climatic conditions. The hybrid belongs to the medium-early maturity group and demonstrates stable yield performance, reaching a potential of up to 4.0 t/ha. Plant height is approximately 160–175 cm, and the head diameter varies within 22–24 cm, providing optimal conditions for seed formation and harvest.

One of the key features of Holib CLP is its high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including fusarium, head sclerotinia, rust, verticillium, anthracnose, and alternaria. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits resistance to races A-G of downy mildew and false powdery mildew due to the presence of the specific gene PL6. These qualities make Holib CLP a reliable choice for cultivation in regions with various agroclimatic conditions, including steppes, forest-steppe, and meadows.

The recommended planting density for Holib CLP depends on soil moisture levels: under adequate moisture, the optimal seeding rate is 60–65 thousand plants per hectare, while under insufficient moisture — 50–60 thousand plants per hectare. This adaptability allows effective use of the hybrid under drought and hot weather conditions, ensuring stable yields and high oil content in seeds.
