The leaves have an oval-obovate shape and dark green color, while the seeds differ with a yellow-green shade and yellow hilum. This variety is distinguished by high stability and yield, making it in demand among agrarians. Sunset was derived by individual selection from the variety Sunrise and belongs to the Manshurica subvariety.
The vegetative period of the Sunset soybean is about 115-120 days, which allows it to be considered a mid-early variety. It demonstrates high resistance to lodging and cracking, as well as tolerance to herbicides, particularly to metribuzin. Protein content in seeds reaches 38.5-43%, and fat — 20-23%, ensuring high nutritional value of the crop. The recommended sowing rate is about 650 thousand seeds per hectare, which promotes optimal plant development and maximum crop output.
