The Soya of the Weidlelewskaya 17 variety is an early-maturing indeterminate variety intended for cultivation in the Central-Black Earth region. The plant has a semi-compact form with gray pubescence, which contributes to resistance to unfavorable weather conditions. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 139.8 to 169.2 grams, indicating the large-fruited nature of the variety. The vegetative period allows for obtaining a harvest in early terms, which is especially important for regions with a short warm season. The variety is characterized by high yield: average indicators reach 12.2 centners per hectare, while maximum — 20.0 centners per hectare, recorded in the Belgorod region. An important advantage of Weidlelewskaya 17 is resistance to lodging and shattering, which reduces losses during harvesting. In addition, during the trials the variety was not subjected to significant damage by diseases, which facilitates agrotechnical care and reduces the need for the application of protective agents. The protein content in the seeds of the variety is in the range from 30.4 to 36.9%, and fat — from 18.5 to 22.1%, which makes it attractive for use in the food and feed industry. The high quality of seeds and stability of yield indicators make Weidlelewskaya 17 a reliable choice for agricultural producers oriented towards effective and sustainable soya production.
