Rubin

Rubin soybean variety is a mid-late, high-yielding variety with a vegetative period of about 85-90 days. The plants are indeterminate type of medium height, reaching from 80 to 110 cm, with the height of attachment of lower pods ranging from 13.5 to 18 cm. Seeds of the variety are medium or large size, elongated-flattened, yellow in color with a yellow hilum, mass of 1000 seeds varies from 159.5 to 190 g. The flowers of the plant have purple color.

The variety is characterized by high yield, which in various regions can reach from 18.8 to 65 c/ha, which indicates its stability and plasticity. Protein content in seeds is from 35.5% to 43%, and fat is about 23.4%, making it valuable for food and feed industry. Rubin has high cold resistance, fast start growth and drought resistance, which allows successful cultivation on various soil types and in different climatic conditions.

In addition, the variety is characterized by increased resistance to main diseases, in particular to ascochitis, which reduces the risk of crop losses and reduces the need for application of chemical protection means. Recommended for sowing in various regions, including North Caucasus region and most regions of Ukraine, with optimal sowing density of about 400-600 thousand seeds per hectare. The variety is suitable for direct sowing and provides a stable and quality yield.
