DIVA

The 'DIVA' soybean variety is a mid-early determinate variety included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region. The plant is characterized by an intermediate form with reddish-brown pubescence, a lower pod attachment height ranging from 10.3 to 18.2 cm. The leaves are large, with lateral leaflets varying from lanceolate to rhomboid shape and a green color. Flowers are white, while pods are dark brown. Seeds are spheroid-flattened, yellow with a black hilum, with the mass of 1000 seeds averaging 154.6 g. The variety is distinguished by high yield: the average yield in the region is 23.5 c/ha, while in individual trials in the Stavropol Krai, yield reached 39.6 and 36.5 c/ha. Protein content in seeds ranges from 31.9% to 38.2%, and fat content from 21.7% to 25.8%. 'DIVA' is resistant to lodging and shattering, which contributes to crop preservation. Additionally, the variety demonstrates low incidence of bacterial blight and powdery mildew under field conditions, enhancing its reliability and disease resistance. Thanks to its characteristics, the 'DIVA' variety is suitable for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, providing a stable and high yield of soybeans with high protein and fat content. Its large leaves and resistance to adverse factors make it attractive to agrarians seeking quality raw materials for the food and feed industries.
