Artemis soybean variety is a medium-early or medium-maturing variety developed in Ukraine, adapted for cultivation in various soil-climate conditions, including the Polissia and Steppe zones. Plants reach a height of 70 to 90 cm, have a determinate growth type, and a vegetative period of about 110-120 days. Seeds are characterized by an elongated shape, yellow seed coat, and light-brown hilum, indicating high-quality seed material.
This variety is distinguished by high yield, which varies from 3.0 to 4.5 tons per hectare depending on growing conditions, and may reach even higher yields under irrigation. The seeds contain a significant amount of protein — from 39.0 to 41.0%, as well as oil — from 20.5 to 22.2%, making this variety attractive for grain use. Additionally, the variety is resistant to major diseases, lodging, and shattering, ensuring stable yields and facilitating harvest.
Artemis is recommended for sowing at an optimal density of 600-700 thousand plants per hectare, which helps maximize the variety's potential. Due to its adaptability and resistance to stress factors, this soybean variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality, high-yielding crops in various climatic zones of Ukraine.
