Soybean AFK Fest

Stability and Quality: Why Professionals Choose «AFK Fest»

For farmers operating in temperate climates, finding the right soybean variety is always a trade-off between maturity speed and grain filling. «AFK Fest» from AF Kolos offers a solution that covers both requirements. With a vegetation period of 105–110 days, this mid-early variety allows for successful harvest before late-summer weather fluctuations, while maintaining high yield potential.

Key Characteristics for Productivity

The main achievement of the breeding work by Bagachenko and Tsentylo is the balanced chemical composition of the grain. With a protein content of 40–42% and oil content of 21–23%, this variety serves as versatile raw material for processing plants. High protein levels make it sought after in feed production, while the oil content ensures good profitability when selling to oil extraction plants.

• Harvesting Efficiency: The lower pod attachment height of 12–14 cm is critical for reducing losses during mechanical harvesting. For many farms, this is a decisive factor that minimizes losses per hectare.
• Morphology: The plant height of 90–100 cm ensures sufficient vegetative mass for full yield formation, while the variety demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging, simplifying management during the ripening phase.

Who is this variety for?

«AFK Fest» is the choice for those who avoid experiments with late-maturing varieties requiring long warm seasons. It is optimal for farms practicing traditional crop rotation that need predictable results. While the variety is resilient to minor agronomic oversights, it reaches its full potential when optimal sowing times are observed. It is a reliable tool, designed for stable yields provided that the combine header height is managed effectively.
