Description ABUNDANT-LEAVED
ABUNDANT-LEAVED is a mid-early variety of the hardy perennial sorrel that quickly demonstrates its qualities: it takes only 40‑50 days from germination to the first harvest. During the first year, the plant forms compact rosettes up to 30 cm in height, while by the second year growth accelerates – only 15‑20 days pass from spring regrowth to the next harvest.

The variety's leaves are wide and tender, yet they remain juicy and maintain their mild acidic taste even after long-term storage. The leaf blade tissue is thin but elastic, making them pleasant to the touch and in dishes. The leaves contain a rich set of vitamins (A, C, K), minerals – iron, potassium, phosphorus, as well as useful fiber and organic acids.

High yield reaches 6 kg/m², making ABUNDANT-LEAVED attractive for both home consumption and commercial cultivation. The variety is valued for its low acidity, which simplifies cooking, as well as for fast regrowth after harvesting – the plant almost instantly restores its green mass. Thanks to these properties, it is recommended for fresh consumption in salads and side dishes, as well as for canning, where flavor and nutritional value are preserved.
