Description Zolea
Sugar beet of the Solea variety is a two-year root crop of the Chenopodiaceae family, widely used for sugar production and fodder purposes. The plant forms a root with firm white flesh containing 18–20% sugar, as well as a basal rosette of leaves. For successful cultivation of Solea beet, optimal germination temperatures are in the range of +10–12°C, and for growth and development — +20–22°C. High sowing efficiency is achieved with winter sowing, which promotes better root establishment and plant development. Cultivation of the Solea variety requires careful selection of seed material and proper agronomy. The seeds possess unique genetic characteristics that ensure high yield and product quality. It is recommended to use a dotted sowing method with row spacing of 45 cm, placing one seed per row at a planting depth of 2–3 cm under adequate soil moisture. In conditions of insufficient moisture, the planting depth increases to 3–4 cm to ensure optimal germination conditions. The recommended seeding rate is 90–110 thousand seeds per hectare, accounting for losses and row closure, which ensures plant density for maximum yield. Solea sugar beet seeds are available in various packaging options and are suitable for different soil types and climatic conditions. High-quality seed material provided by professional producers guarantees high seed viability and plant adaptability. Due to its disease and pest resistance, as well as climate adaptability, the Solea variety is a reliable choice for industrial-scale sugar beet cultivation, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
